Box Turtles, Everywhere 04/15/12

I've never seen this many turtles in my life! It seems like two days didn't go by without a turtle or two being caught. Some local turtles got caught a couple times. They really like the area around here with all of the creeks and woods.

If you go for a drive on the back roads after a rain, they're all out crossing the roads. This guy here was a huge box turtle, much bigger than most we found.
